Quality Assurance

OM Group staff follow well defined processes with standard policies, procedures, tools and methods for both software development and service delivery. We have been appraised at Level 3 of the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI)® for both the DEV and SVC constellations. The appraisal at Level 3 demonstrates our standard processes are well-established, documented, and consistently followed by our team, as well as our commitment to continuous process improvement.

Our proven quality assurance (QA) management practices include QMS-driven continual planned improvements through self-inspection and review of policies to ensure the flexibility and adaptability necessary to provide a state-of-the-art capability to SeaPort-e and the task order stakeholders, which will lead to consistent support services with innovation and improvement in current processes with minimal risk. We will work as a full partner with SeaPort-e and task order and end-users by continually assessing staff performance and deliverable quality to ensure the achievement of all desired outcomes. We will also actively seek stakeholders input and participation in finalizing our QCP, and we will support and collaborate with government stakeholders to define the highest value QA performance standards and metrics in the final task order QASP.

Quality Policy

  • All OM Group activities include QA activities as an integral part of processes used for the development and delivery of products/services.
  • Continual improvement effort must be supported.
  • All quality control and quality measurement activities are documented.
  • A QA/CM Manager is designated to be responsible for Quality Assurance.
  • Program and Project Management will review Quality Assurance activities.
  • The OM Group Quality Assurance Plan will be base-lined and placed under Configuration Management control.
  • Quality Assurance works to foster constructive communication, provide feedback to detect and prevent development problems, control risks, discuss alternative solutions, and ensure quality is built-in to all products/services.

Quality Assurance (QA) is an integral part of all our systems engineering and development projects. Our QA philosophy is based on continuous integration, continuous testing and continuous delivery. Acceptance Test driven development is the cornerstone of our methodology. We implement the following QA tasks and activities at appropriate times throughout the duration of the project:
